Barwon Edge is one of the best function venues Geelong has to offer. The Balyang Room is perfect for functions and wedding receptions of a smaller and more intimate nature, with seating for up to 70 guests, and capacity for 90 cocktail style. Having a function or wedding reception in the Balyang Room offers guests all the benefits of an event at the Barwon Edge Boathouse, from the stunning garden and bush setting, through to the quality food and first rate facilities. Every function is tailored and unique, and the function manager is available to assist with planning everything from catering and entertainment through to decorations.

Function durations - All functions are priced on a 5 hour duration, but can be altered in discussion with the venue. Functions must either be in the daytime (8.30am - 5pm) or evening (6pm - 12am) timeslot.
Function end times - Daytime Functions: 5pm / - Evening Functions: 12am (Monday to Saturday) and 11pm (Sunday) - these times can be extended on application
